Friday, May 5, 2023, 10-2 pm  Meet the Artist Maria Poroy at Venture Gallery, Portola Hotel, 260 Alvarado Street.  Old Town’s own Maria Poroy will display and discuss her vividly colored art as May’s featured artist.  Come visit her on May 5 and May 20.  Her art is on display May 1-31.

 Saturday, May 6, 8 am-5 pm and Sunday 10-5- Pacific Grove’s “Good Old Days” begins with an 8 am pancake breakfast at Jewell Park and parade on Pine Street at 10 am on Saturday, with  fun, live music on five stages, food, and craft booths throughout both days on Lighthouse Avenue.  The festival is free, but carnival rides and petting zoo requires fee.

Saturday, May 6, 2023, 10-12 – Wharf Walk with Maritime Historian Tim Thomas.  – Learn about the history of the fishing industry and wharf on this free tour for ages 10-adult only.  Meets in front of the Harbor House store.  Advance reservations are required as space is limited.  Call Tim Thomas at 831-521-3304 or email timsardine@yahoo.com

Saturday, May 6, 3-7 pm.  Dance Center’s Musical Theater Performance in front of Rockfish Harbor Grill at Old Fisherman’s Wharf.  Free.

Monday, May 8, 4-9 – Stokes Adobe Fundraiser – Eat at the Stokes Adobe Restaurant and a portion of your bill will go to the Monterey Public Library.

Sunday, May 14, 2023 – Mother’s Day on the Wharf- Enjoy Mother’s Day decorations and photo opportunities on the wharf.  Vendors offer specials for Mother’s Day.

Monday, May 29, 2023, 1 pm. Monterey County Pops! Annual Memorial Day Concert on Monterey City Hall lawn begins at 1 pm with the Monterey Peninsula Gospel Community Choir.  At 2 pm  Monterey County Pops! Orchestra plays.  Free!
