20 – Maison du Soleil

1928 Tudor Revival

The Maison du Soleil (“Sunny House”) was built in 1928 by an unknown architect.  The home’s features, however, are very reminiscent of those designed by Hugh Comstock of Carmel.  The residence is a representative example of the Tudor Revival architectural style in Monterey in the 1920s.
